it isnt the only problem. they also have "improved" the safety (of their business) by blocking chats from out of gmail when hangout is being used. So that now you can not chat from an xmpp server...

i don't think he is killing yappari to save battery, but to avoid being contacted or to avoid anyone knows the time you are going to bed (assuming to switch off the internet connection at that time.

You do not have to avoid a reboot, but in that case, if you are not on that directory and you would like which program is blocking the partition and avoiding it to be umount you can use
