new videos from subscription has already been added to the update, it will show up as first item in the subscriptions list. I will stay away from desktop widget, I feel it's not really a needed...

Like the little "Home" icon, but not so sure about the "Swipe to unlock" screen. Seems to be a bit too bright, the text is swamped by the bright colour.
Changed it to something darker in Theme...

oh, now i think i know what is the problem, imo stable has default locked rotation. Just use this command:
gconftool-2 -s /apps/osso/hildon-desktop/ui_can_rotate -t bool true
