With each increase in number between 111 to 118, there is a noticeable improvement, but once you reach 118, any higher number doesn't seem to make...

Probably because applications need to be on the ext3 filesystem, which is not readable in windows (unless using a special driver or other software), whereas the documents and other media can work...

The FBReader in the extras repo only has the old 0.8.17 version. If you add the FBReader repo (http://www.gronmayer.com/it/dl.php?id=119), it will update to the 0.10.7 version.
