Re: Allow Tor access to TMO

I'm not sure about the current problems the site faces, but I could volunteer for a "spam cleanup crew" of volunteers. I do have some free-time these days.

I do demand to make all my cleanup...

Re: Are the repos managed by the same staff that run the HONEYPOT that tmo has become? If so, I'm selling my phone.

Yeah, you're all right, I'm going overboard. I'm sure I'm entirely wrong and the Maemo is right all of the time, even though the explanations part might sound off, I'm sure I'm all paranoid and all...

Re: Are the repos managed by the same staff that run the HONEYPOT that tmo has become? If so, I'm selling my phone.

Don't get me wrong and nothing personal, but are you blind enough to believe that? I'm sure that merely *reading* the site through tor makes spam posts appear (ahem), but perhaps that is a bit of an...

Are the repos managed by the same staff that run the HONEYPOT that tmo has become? If so, I'm selling my phone.

The title is straight to the point. Seriously, TMO has become a joke. Can't even read tmo through TOR because satan himself will summon hell to everyone anonymously while he performs black magic in...

Re: N900 Flashing Problem - Please Help

I attempted the solution proposed by tcbl50 (thanks, man!) on http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=881478&postcount=13 :

It worked flawlessly. I also had some trouble with getting the windows...

Re: N900 Flashing Problem - Please Help

I had gone through most of the links you posted, I'm afraid.

I don't have solid evidence to guess so, but I think this has more to do with what I've done with the phone and a HW failure, btw.

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

I have a broken N900 as well as a (lol) non-functioning one due to flashing problems, as mentioned in a recent thread I've opened.

Question:
Will the Neo900 require the deceased N900 carcass in...

Re: Let's talk Nokia stock!

Ok, let's get the dust off from my account. ;)

Re: Can Harmattan forge its own glory fate?

Even if you disregard the fact that devices die, the N9 isn't really an open-source project, considering how much of it is open and, especially, how much is not.

Anyways, short answer, no.

Re: Convince me the N9 is better than the N900

I believe the N9 will perform better in its version of n900fly, since its shape produces less drag.

That's pretty much it for functionality, I guess. You'll probably be better off with the N900...

Re: Nokia's Great Lost Platform

Not to such detail, but some of those points were mentioned in old my-symbian threads and articles.

Many of the old communicator userbase have dealt with the feeling of being orphaned by Nokia....

Re: Meltemi - Lightweight Linux based os from Nokia

One word comes to mind: Aegis.

It doesn't really matter if it's linux, that doesn't necessarily translates as open. Nokia seems very much inclined to making a linux-based locked down platform...
