Suggestion: port Dalvik JIT to Maemo
I was wondering...Since we already can install NitDroid (Android) on the N900, why not try to port the Dalvik JIT (and maybe other related libraries) to maemo 5?

Hummm. Good hint. I've already reflashed root, but not the eMMC. Do you know of any log files i might be looking at? I want to try to fix this before having to reflash everything again...

NETCAT - has anybody ported it to the N900?
Does anybody know if there is a port of netcat to the N900? I can't find it in the regular repos...
Besides making network tests, netcat is a fast and handy way to transfer files from the network....

Somebody loging into you N900 - if you install telnetd or OpenSSH-Server you should change the passwords. Of course, this can happen even if you are on...
