Shutter button malfunctioning

There seems to be something wrong with my shutter button. It doesnt register full button depresses. Is there a way to map the full shutter depress to some other key?

The guys at Brando used to make such hardware mods for the n95-1 .. The stuff made for my n95 were good value - hats of to their economic engineering. Let me see if i have my contact still with them...
