chmod +x /usr/local/bin/gphoto2-config


If you have this problem:
"error while loading shared libraries: missing_file: cannot open shared...

You can find the binaries of both gphoto2 and libgphoto2 here:
http://www.wirgilio.it/mio/gphoto2_libgphoto2.tar.gz
Just unrar it on / and make /usr/local/bin/* executable ;)

I managed to compile the latest version of gphoto2 and use it with VUmeter as sound trigger with my nikon D3100.
The problem is that there's a lag of 1-2 sec due to the camera drivers loading for...

Does someone managed to install symbolic?
I tried to install clc, which is needed by ginac, which is needed by symbolic, but after some hours of compiling I got an error about "undefined reference...
