Re: Jolla tablet countup to delivery[Now With Poll]

No engraving, but I also don't recall ever reading it was to be engraved?

There is an engraving! It's an engraved Jolla logo, in the bottom-left. It's quite small and not very visible though (at...

Just received my Tablet (Perth, Australia), with LastuCase - it's a nice bit of kit, and I think the display is great! :D

Re: tmo - a talk.maemo.org client (pre-alpha preview release)

I should provide a quick update here - I haven't abandoned the project, but have been distracted recently with other commitments.

I've re-factored the app to use the tapatalk interface - it's...

Re: [Announcement] Fundraiser for "Maemo" Trademark registration

Not sure how useful this would be, but as an alternative to Paypal and direct-bank transfers, I'm happy to help set up a donation micro-site for Maemo using Stripe as the payment processor - if that...

Re: tmo - a talk.maemo.org client (pre-alpha preview release)

Thanks for the tip. I did try and find if there was an API available, but didn't have much luck, and as the Harmattan app also used html parsing, I assumed that was as good as we'd get. I'll take...

Re: tmo - a talk.maemo.org client (pre-alpha preview release)

No worries, I knew what you meant - I was probably a bit too defensive there, sorry! :)

I've just uploaded a quick hotfix to OpenRepos (v0.1.1). This fixes a bug where threads for forums under...

Re: tmo - a talk.maemo.org client (pre-alpha preview release)

It's hard to please everyone :)

Maybe because:

I consider myself part of the maemo community, but I use Sailfish OS on my day-to-day phone.
There is already a great Maemo forum app for...

Post tmo - a talk.maemo.org client (pre-alpha preview release)

Hi,

I've started working on a Sailfish OS app for this forum. It's currently in its very early stages, but I'm trying to follow the 'release early, release often' mantra.

Warning: this is a...

Very true, and I tend to agree - but as I'm getting the problem in multiple locations (home, work, friend's house), with different router hardware, I'm thinking in this case it's a problem with the...

Re: Jolla User Experience Thread

I had frequent reboots, and I 'appeared' (who knows if it was this) to fix it by re-authenticating my Google account, which was no longer valid. I think it was a combination of wifi/network dropout...

Re: Anyone in Australia have a Jolla?

I had to activate 4G on my service- not just the phone (see http://www.virginmobile.com.au/4g). You also have to make sure you're using the 'yesinternet' APN - not the virgin one.
