Well I can't understand why this issue is such a blocker for N9 users. It happened to me once on my N950, but on N9 you can easily get your security code back, by using Nemesis Service Suite....

Not really helping, but more ranting:
this kind of (probably exactly this) sw bug is known since a few years from the E-series symbian phones!
I personally can not understand how this bug survives...

If the N9 supports dead USB mode (and being a newer Nokia phone it likely does) you can simply change the lock code provided that your Phoenix version supports the N9.

This is a rather large bug. Nokia phones are supposed to have a default lock code set.
Who knows what happens when you have software that expects a lock code value in there and gets none?

Big improvement when scrolling through your contacts. The sidebar you use to scroll quickly alphabetically is a lot better now. This applies to other similar lists as well.
