I think you won't be able to upload them to its garage page, but you could put them in the wiki or attach them in a tar.gz or zip file in the 0xFFFF announcement thread

Yes, this version of WebKit doesn't support basic authentication.

You can probably bypass it by using http://user:Pass@meegotalk.com, but I would advise against it since Tear and keyboard...

python-wifi seems to be missing from the dependencies... not sure if there is any inherent reason for that or simply nobody bothered. PyQt is available for the N810, so no problem there.
