Yes, it's a known bug in the Birthcay Smart Calendar (https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6811) and it should be fixed in the next firmware update.

@sinetype: Use Ç instead of ç and the problem is gone!! Yes it's weird to have a capital letter in the middle of a word, but it works.
