It's because with 3g video call you could call someone anytime anywhere under then sun(even moon) as long as he/she has a signal. On Skype the person you need to contact to need to be online first...

Why does it need to be capped under 300kb? I'm asking because a standard pic with N900 (5Mp) is easily >700kb. Any way to expand this option? Or is it standard MMS settings?

No, your plan needs to be MMS enabled. No real MMS implementation does it over wi-fi.
Picture SMS is something completely different which fMMS has never said to deliver. Please get your facts...

I had catorize and uninstalled it. Looks interesting, but not very effective. Most of the stuff downloaded from Ovi just gets dumped in Ovi folder anyway (games, applications, etc).
