It has been four months and this hasn't been a problem so far. It seems to toggle between charge/discharge quickly with slight movement though. I hope that is just normal behaviour and not a symptom....

You are right! It is personal! I bought the phone 1st) for my personal use and 2nd) to show off to these berryheadzz and icoolzz what Linux can do that their blackberries and iphones cannot do.
