yes.

1.25G is FAT so unless you re-partition to make the ext2 partition have more space.

go to xterm, do

#mount

to see where / was mounted (/dev/mmcblk0p2 is the internal MMC)

apps will be most likely installed in /usr/bin or /sbin so they will be installed in the mounted...

1. MMC. You can make your partitions bigger than you can with the internal flash. Just beware that ext2 is not compressed like jffs2 is.

2. rm ~/.osso/mis/internet-search-applet.xml

Assuming that you were using apt-get the message of "Could not get lock" could be because the application manager was open or you were not root.
