So because of some vague quote of N900 being step 4/5 it's ok it had shitloads of bugs when it first came for sale, and that "support" as you call it was pretty much just fixing SOME of those bugs it...

I don't think anyone is complaining about new hardware. N900 is a great piece of hardware, and I'm sure the coming Meego device from Nokia is even faster. Just as the 3GS is a lot faster than 2G/3G....

Ok, managed to fix this by clearing /home/user/.backgrounds/ . Files in the directory were automatically restored.

After that I managed to change the stuck wallpaper.
