-1 value can mean 2 things:
*wrong programming
*kernel does not support it

I think its the second one.

*Rewritten the app from scratch (better programming :))
*Added a button to test if i can get the signal strength/power using the transmitter

Thats why i am developing T-CONTROL :). But i can easily add a button to the current E.F.F. version to set the transmitter to the first empty frequency found.

i found that si4713, the transmitter chip of N900, fortunately supports rds af. If you google tx_rds_ps_af you can find a lot of info and i even found some code examples.
