Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)

Sure but I'd be stuck on edge as the phone is too limited unlike the N9. Why buy a phone I can only use on data on wi-fi?

Re: Neo900 - finally a successor of N900

We just officially kicked off proto_V2 building with our partner GDC.
Great day, everybody happy.
Though a small sad detail: it will take longer than we hoped it will, until proto_V2 is falling off...

Re: Porting Sailfish to N9 (or other)

Re: [Announce] Google Voice client qgvdial is ready for testing

There's no invocation interface for Windows, but it shouldn't be too difficult for me to add it.
There's already a dbus interface for Linux and variants.

Up until right now, I was skeptical about...

Re: Waiting room for non-EU pre-orders

It's not crucial, but Jolla should pay attention to their users in US. From that perspective I care about it, since I can't use the device personally until it's compatible with local networks. I hope...

Re: Waiting room for non-EU pre-orders

After foolishly chatting with the JollaUSA twitter handle who thinks that not coming out in the US has now placed Jolla as a "buyer beware" type of company that has fooled people into buying 40/100€...

Re: Waiting room for non-EU pre-orders

NA market isn't small. At least it won't be any smaller than some markets in Europe. Size doesn't scare Jolla I think. It's the legal landscape that worries them. Entering US means preparing to fight...

Re: [Announce] Google Voice client qgvdial is ready for testing

* I've finally finished restructuring the qgvdial code base to target BB10, Sailfish and in the future Android and iOS.
* The core API code is the same as before. The UI has been fully re-written -...

One issue that is being in favour of establishing a new community is the people of tmo. I think people here are generally very tech savvy and even educated on Jolla, other Linux-based operating...

Re: Can the Jolla phone be used in the united states

We should probably ask Jolla when they are going to produce some ETA about other regions. One month and one year are quite different.
