On Linux, a process is somewhat costly to create.

However, once it's there, it doesn't really require that much more resources than a thread would. Also, how many widgets are people going to have?...

I think that widgets should be forbidden from extras completely :| Too much of problems with 1.2 lately. Just downgrading them back to testing and testing them again would be favour to end...

I've "ported" the C++ FFT function from Milkdrop 1.04 to C and done some simple tests.

I haven't done any testing using music data or integrated it with anything so this is just FFT functionality...
