To get rid of the annoying safety dialog on startup just set

showSafetyMsg=false

in settings.ini

I got the auto start working with following script in /etc/event.d

--
console logged

start on started hildon-desktop
stop on stopped dbus

exec /usr/bin/python /home/user/script.py

Ok my first enthusiasm cooled off a bit, because my Stowaway only connects succesfully every 10th time or so. Between my attempts I get the same error above like technosopher.
