I only said what it sounded like TO ME. "Linux APIs that make sense" just doesn't sound like they gonna use glibc TO ME.

To me Sailfish seems to be another castrated Linux that has some custom libc with only "Linux APIs that make sense" (i.e. another Bionic).

I have both and wouldn't wanna miss either of the two. S3 (for me) is the perfect mobile entertainer and media consumption device. N900 is the ultimate communicator, network tool and nerd powertoy....

You can install freoffice with
dpkg -i --force-overwrite <debfile>
when docs2go is installed.
The only conflict is one or two icons used for word docs and it has no ill effect to overwrite one...

I have hexedited all instances of 31302e31 to 31322e31. Restarted browser and browserd processes.
about:plugins shows Flashplayer at version 12.1
Adobe's site still shows 10.1 (see Attachment pic)...

I read that those Krait quadcores can not compete with Samsung or Qualcomm quadcores yet. Most powerful android device seems to be Galaxy Note 2 followed by 2GB Version of S3 atm.

2104 no probs.

Should add that i filed off all microusb connectors that ever touch my N900 so that they insert and eject almost without any force. I did that the week I got my N900.

My GalaxyTab GT-P1000 is also my most heavily used device. I wanted to buy the Gtab 7.7 but I can't get it here. The GalaxyTab 7 Plus N is not an attractive upgrade.

If those are standard Windows shares you can mount them easily using the Wizard Mounter app which is in the repository. In the app check Samba option. Once mounted you can access them with any N900...
