Hi, I suppose that the app manager compares the list of apps with apps already installed. The visible list is the difference of both. In my opinion it is safe to delete.

It has always done that.

Connecting via USB in mass storage dismounts the phone and card memories and mounts them in the PC. This is necessary and by design.

Exit the images and media player,...

For those who cannot get it to work, make sure that you have
(1) today's firmware
(2) there is no app (hide useragent) spoofing the browser's user agent string
