Good thread.

I personally have a lot of respect for the people who put their time into getting CSSU up and running, esp Muhammed AG, because *this* is what keeps the n900 from going obsolete....

a cotton bud does fit in there, just need to tweak its edges (lol). Pull out and loosen up some of the cotton at the end so it looks more like a wisp/feather, then stuff it in and rotate away.

depends on the bitrate and/or profile you're using. the MPEG-4 codec works for me, next best thing to H.264 (which is supported but only the baseline profile, plus its more cpu/gpu intensive)

ive had that problem too, with the screen remaining blank, especially if you take the phone out of your pocket. I'd appreciate hardware buttons, heck even one will do,...
