your welcome, that's happened with you because this update need about 45 MB free memory available on rootsh, and when the extra-devel catalog enabled that's take more than 10 MB from this available...

i made some search about this issue with Enhanced Linux Kernel reboots

if after upgrade to PR 1.2 using app manager the issue still there and not resolved, you need to remove the Enhanced Linux...

i don't know if the PR 1.2 is available in app manager for global or not yet, but its available for UK release.

so just re-flash with UK then try upgrade to 1.2 directly from app manager.
