Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!

Don't be so sure about the U.S. Patent Office. Apple succeeded in patenting rounded rectangles and slide to unlock.

Free RAM is a pointless thing to ask.
Android works exactly like desktop Linux in this regard, it stuff the system files (OS) into the RAM, then it decides how much to leave free, then it calculates...

Re: Will I regret buying a Galaxy Note-2?

@flop
No, you didn't comprehend it. The SGS3 is considered a big phone, and the Note is both wider and longer than it. However, its actually not too wide that it doesn't fit into pockets. I use a...

Re: Will I regret buying a Galaxy Note-2?

@flopjoke

You're comment isn't correct.
I own an N900 and a NOTE. The NOTE is definitely wide and long, however it is also very thin. It's also not too wide, it fits into all my jeans pockets.

Re: Nokia's Flagship Lumia 900 obsolete in less than a year?

Although I am the largest fan/supporter of Maemo, the above is not completely true, although we all pretty much knew that Windows 8 was coming, and the Lumia/Windows 7.5 processors would probably not...

I used to glance beyond the cyber world

Reading between the lines of the text that Quim pointed to, it seems obvious to me that his job appears to be under threat, if indeed he is not already on notice.

Quim's been here a long time and...

Re: How will maemo.org introduce itself in 6 months?
