Ehh, I normally get around 20-30mA usage with 3g idle on PR 1.1. Must just have cleared up something on your device.

Honestly, that's a lot of extrapolating from inconclusive and shaky data. I can see where you'd want to go with that, but it's just too inconclusive.

In the end, I don't know that we'll ever see...

It does have Kmplayer ported to it (check FMC.) I guess it works too as I installed mplayer and that and now my Orb feeds work so I can still watch live TV on the go.

That's precisely what it does. It also did something else on the N900 but it really was of no consequence to me. Auto speakerphone though is truly a blessing..

IIRC, the phone shouldn't be on for flashing. Just download the maemo flasher, get it all ready, and plug the N9 in. It should flash before anything comes up.

I usually head to interfacelift.com and grab something from there. The N9 will let you crop it however you want so just grab something that is big enough (ie, bigger than the res of the N9.)

Sure.

Besides the better UI, it was definitely small things like one- you get 3 icons in the app screen as opposed to 4 on the N9 (higher res of course) and you never got away from that "old...

Generally one were to assume that products made in Finland (or anywhere in Europe for that matter) are of a higher quality than that made in China. It may or may not be the case (China was valuable...

FYI, on Newegg the price is now 630. Save a couple bucks. Good to see it's getting easier for US buyers. I'm waiting though for a 64GB. Might jump on the Amazon seller.
