Slight correction: it's supported by the community. But this is nothing new for the majority of Droids out there, that never receive vendor updates.

That is precisely the point of a device like the N900 and that's why we love it. The ability to do things that are not popular.

It's not popular to have an option to play sound on both hw speakers...

It's just a coincidence. We had been talking about going back to Mer since way earlier that year, after MeeGo had let us down. If I could find them, I'd show you notes on Mer design from the summer...

-They have about 50 workers at the moment, half of them are ex-Nokia
-They have engineers, designers and software developers...

I'd have to say that the separation of developers (meego.org) and users/contributors (talk.maemo.org) was a very bad thing, imho for the N9.

People were rewarded here, talked about their exploits...

It's a software issue and is due to its charge saving algorythm. Go to the Display properties and uncheck charge saving, and it's over :)
