Re: Software updates for Jolla 1 have been discontinued

I think it is all there at https://git.sailfishos.org or in Jolla's source archives (https://releases.sailfishos.org/sources/) (https://releases.sailfishos.org/sources/), as well as the original...

Re: Software updates for Jolla 1 have been discontinued

My original Jolla phone endured swimming in toilet, and sleeping 2 months under snow that variated between wet and hard. And it came out unscathed. What a trooper.

Software updates for Jolla 1 have been discontinued

Perhaps this is already known, but I just found out about it today, and I didn't see any other topics about it:

The Jolla Phone, Jolla 1 or whatever you want to call it, will no longer receive new...

Re: [Announce] Native offline maps: OSM Scout Server

For completeness, it all seems to be working. I missed offline maps/navigation/search in sfos 3.4 :)

Re: [Announce] Native offline maps: OSM Scout Server

Re 3.0.9: it's probably I forgot to change in the SPEC. OBS makes that automatically while compiling

Re OBS importance: I guess we need to point everyone asking why do we have to wait for OBS to...

Re: [Announce] Native offline maps: OSM Scout Server

This is kind of working, and making slow progress as I'm honestly playing around with this :) I do appreciate a bit more why we need OBS and updated targets for the community.

Quick question...

Re: [Announce] Native offline maps: OSM Scout Server

My swap will come with OBS target, as I have to update a port of Sony Tama (6 variants) before that. Compared to that, maps stack update should be way easier.

As for lockdowns, on the basis of the...

Re: [Announce] Native offline maps: OSM Scout Server

Yes, you should be able to build it on SDK. You may have to increase allocated RAM for it, though.

Installation of dependencies available at SFOS repos is done automatically by `mb2`. So, you will...

Re: Qt "stuck" at v5.6 in SFOS

Dear @olf,

thank you very much for your letter as well as sending it open. I am very well aware of GPLv3 issue that Jolla has. Maybe not in full detail, but at least partially. Indeed, it is...

Re: [Announce] Native offline maps: OSM Scout Server

New OSM maps are imported and available. Cannot say the same regarding 3.4.0.x support - OBS still lacks the target.

Re: [Announce] Native offline maps: OSM Scout Server

It was raised at OpenRepos as well. Not much I will be able to do about it until OBS targets will be pushed to 3.4.0.x. That should arrive at some point, as confirmed today at the community meeting....

Re: Flatpak on Sailfish OS

I have recompiled Flatpak using SFOS 3.3.0.x provided libseccomp and json-glib. This build is available through usual Flatpak distribution channel at OBS.

For devices on SFOS 3.2.1.20 (Sony Xperia...

Re: [Announce] System monitoring solution based on collectd/rrdtool/SystemDataScope

As tested and approved by @cy8aer, recompile fixed issues with collectd. Please use version collectd-5.5.0.git_.2020.05.05 if you are on SFOS 3.3.0. Otherwise, please use earlier version. The...

Re: [Announce] System monitoring solution based on collectd/rrdtool/SystemDataScope

New build of collectd is available at OBS. This is not tested as I don't have my device updated yet.

Unfortunately, data is not stored that way. It will depend on the search engine, but there is a lot of fuzziness in the hierarchy of data. See this lovely table as an example:...

Thumbs up Re: Flatpak on Sailfish OS

Thanks for the fast update! I installed it yesterday on X and XA2 but found no issues on both devices after the upgrade. I would say that it's safe to install the new flatpak base.

Re: Flatpak on Sailfish OS

Flatpak 1.6.3 is out, not tested much so far. Those who wish to test can update, others should wait and see if there will be any complaints.

@Nekron - thank you very much for heads up!

Re: Flatpak on Sailfish OS
