I tried with the -d and the inputfocus is still missing. changing to F9 didn't work.


But starting the applications from xterm works as a workaround

fw190. Have you tried to run synchroot from rootshell after mounting easy debian and edited the file? I had to do that to get my "dano" keyboard working in lxde.

I tried to make a ubuntu lucid image again, and it was still unstable. Maybe its compiled with options that the architecture of n900 doesn't like.
But I found this on debian about openoffice 3.2...

To make my firefox in the ubuntu-image start better I did a change :
I made a script /usr/bin/iceweasel and put this into it:

The problem can be that the export variables in /sbin/debian will not be inherited when you use su -. You have to set them manually in the chroots users enviroment. .bashrc or some other place like ...

rmmod dm-loop
and then rename the dm-loop.ko to dm-loop.ko.org ?

I got openoffice.org 3.2 to work on my easy debian using the ubuntu-packages for armel, but I destroyed my image in the prossess after when I was cleaning up....

Installed the ubuntuversion found...

I installed ssh in easy debian and told it to listen to port 23.
I then from n900 console after starting debbie and starting...

I tried to run som test and it was a little bit faster with the extra options. I runned debian on sdhc-card as a partition and not as a image. I did the test on /root so I was sure I didn't...

Maybe you could change the qmount-script to mount debian with nobh and nodiratime in addition to notime to gain a little bit more performance.
