gconftool -s -t b /desktop/meego/notifications/previews_enabled false
and all your notifications preview toasts will be...

yea, DEFINITELY do not use regular torx. also make sure your hands are firm and steady. i stripped a screw with a torx, and had to slice through the metal case to replace my battery. total nightmare....

I had it. Been so frustrated by this that I bought Jolla. What helped me was reflashing and doing nothing, not installing anything, nothing. That kept the N9 working as it should.
