I unzipped the big file into MyDocs/wagic/Res/sets
You should end up with a bunch of folders 2ED, 5ED, etc. all containing 2ED.zip and and _cards.dat (ie, no need to unzip twice)

Aaaa... Now you have to go back into the options menu to delete the duplicate keys.
-- You can use the touch screen on the opening menu, go to options
-- Use "q" and "a" to go to the key config...

I'm in the process of selling my n810, so I don't have a chance to implement this, but it just struck me how easy it would be to implement a pinyin Chinese input method, with something like VIM,...

Nethack? My drug of choice was Dungeon Crawl stone soup... I didn't even know they had nethack on the n810. Dungeon Crawl is so much better though, it's actually playable.
