I have run telegram desktop with very early leste image. If I recall right in some point I needed to run things with sudo from terminal to get them launch (which of course should not be the case).

That's good to know. If you run into something like that again, please get a logcat. The more bizarre and hard to replicate bugs are the ones we need logs for the most.

It's possible to downgrade, but I'll also upload the zip without the check shortly.

Maybe FIVE (http://fifengine.de/) could be something to look into? It's open source isometric rpg engine. It does not let you play fallout games at the moment (if ever -who knows :)) ..but at least...
