So ModRana (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=58861) now has quite a few new CLI options for use by Saeri (and any other program or script):

Exactly. I don't know what it is with people running everything as root. One should never run anything as root, unless it tells him to and he's 100% sure what he's doing.
Imagine they run an app...

i have added a queenbeecon widget too desktop and added command
cd /home/user/MyDocs/saera
pyton saera.py

this starts saera with 1 click and a few seconds start time

Ok, I'll add a language selector. Saera will be able to respond in Spanish but you'll have to talk to her in English, because I haven't separated the keywords out into their own module yet.

I still haven't figured out the answer button, but I've added the ability to activate it by putting it to your ear (like Siri seems to be able to do).

Updated: about 5x faster recognition, although accuracy is still the same. The problem was the "loading" animation: as I couldn't figure out how to do a partial redraw, it was redrawing the entire...

If I can suggest anything - please, don't make it another program that just parses per-defined commands to actions - it can be done on N900...

I realized that the Pocketsphinx packages are not optified. So anyone who doesn't have any room after installing, here's a little script to optify them.
