sorry but i really hope this doesnt happen. if youre on the phone at the time you can catch the text anyway. i dont want to be forced to answer a text when im busy doing something else.

maybe try a good few reboots first. i had a few weird symbols years ago and about 5 reboots fixed it.

is it just me or has thumb2 broken colours in email? when i change the text colour it always goes to red, sometimes a dark read that is not even in the palette.

its not my themes so has anyone...

dont know if its thumb2 thats done it but when i click on video the call is disconnected and the red notification light shows until a reboot.

you say you have many bad sectors, so have you tried scanning for bad sectors on a windows pc? (scan and fix)

yeah but i bet it was a broken usb tommo not a simple screen repair.

looks like they will fix it then and send it back in its battered state. :( was hoping for a lumia or 808. oh well.

if by newer model you mean another n900, then yes i know im not going to get one of them.

ok i have an n900 in warranty that has what seems to be a broken screen ribbon.

has anyone sent theirs off for this or another problem recently?

what i want to know is will they repair it or...

that was exactly what happened! i only noticed it was the screw untill it got to the point where the slide wouldnt close at all.
