apt-get install -y libacl1

..it automatically installs libattr as a dependency.

Yes, but i already have a partitioned drive, there is no risk of any losses. :( ..ohh, such an installer is so definitely on my wish list.

..just got back to Windows. I was able to resolve the grayed out unallocated areas as well - i deleted the partition and remade it - and got no unallocated areas. Then a restart...
