Well, I wouldn't mind if automatic brightness would be disabled completely. But ini-customizable brightness levels and thresholds sound good too. It makes sense to dim the display in low light...

Hm, I have version 2.18.0-0.maemo1 installed. The upgrade to version .maemo5 wants to install 16 additional packages with 4.4 MB. Isn't that kind of strange for a simple configuration editor/ui?

Oh my, I have those spots too. Just disassembled my phone to re-attach my USB-port and didn't pay attention when I put everything back together. The upper part with the display didn't fit that well...
