Re: N900 not flashing fully and phone is slow, lock code not working, few files broken.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't feel OP has had a RTFM in this thread so far. His troubles were acknowledged, and proper instructions were given, to start with.

After that, OP needs to start...

Re: N900 not flashing fully and phone is slow, lock code not working, few files broken.

Totally offtopic: Could we all please adjust tone and information to be more 'newby'-friendly. Oneliners are not going to lead anywhere. Please let talk.maemo.org not become some nerd-only debian...

Re: N900 not flashing fully and phone is slow, lock code not working, few files broken.

If you followed the wiki correctly you would have known the trouble with 64bit Windows, and you would have known which image to use by now. And also you would have bumped into a phrase "md5...

Re: [Open discussion] Banning and evidence

I am sorry for the mess around tmo, I would like to have more spare time in my life to do full 48h a day clean-up 10 days a week, I don't!

We have now 2 new Moderators and I...

Re: [Open discussion] Banning and evidence

I welcome open discussion, but this is ridiculous.
You hotheads should find yourselves a seperate irc channel and fight it out elsewhere, 'cause you guys are turning TMO into your personal...

Re: Prey Project on Maemo

As an alternative you could look at SMSCON which was designed for Maemo to do a similar job.

Re: What nokia should have done

Mine's pretty smooth. Other people have had issues here and there, but you're the only person I've seen on TMO who reports shaky Harmattan UI in every third post. Perhaps your hand is just shaking? I...

@ZogG why this aggressive approach.

My post was written with humor and just me imagining it in a cinematic way how @somedude reacted on yet another thread of this kind. I totally agree with...

Re: For Lumiaman - 101 Reasons Not to Buy WP7.5

Are you that naive? The reasons it outsells the N9 currently are the high price, no advertising, tiny market release and probably a cease in production. Imagine if N9 had the push of the Lumia with...

Re: Let's talk Nokia stock!

Doh! I didn't even need to go Googling it--I knew full well but expressed it incorrectly. Having come from an Atari ST (co-op under TOS, pre-emptive under MiNT) and Amiga (pre-emptive) background...

But to prove how much I am in pain, I googled it for...

Re: Let's talk Nokia stock!

So, Ubuntu server isn't a Linux distribution until you decide to install X11? Or does it just need to be available? Does that mean Android is now a Linux distribution thanks to that X11 project...

Linux distribution = Linux kernel + X windows manager...

First off, and this needs to be immediately put out there, since when is X11...
