I opened your file in hex. Turns out you use windows line endings. Try setting your editor to use unix line endings somehow. Or you could delete '0D' from each '0D 0A' in your file using a hex editor.

I remember I had a similar problem but building the package locally gave me a more obvious error message.
Try these:

Space before '--'
Two spaces before '* Initial Release'
Two spaces between...

You don't need catorise to save your battery. No. I mean. You actually DON'T want catorise because it ruins your battery, unless you download the bugfix stated above. No it wasn't fixed in PR1.3.

I don't see why we should even bother porting those apps. If blackberry users want to extend their contacts, they'd use other known protocols we have in pidgin/empathy.

Guys, you could just enable executability for MyDocs, make an applications folder in MyDocs and symlink it to /home/user.
Making MyDocs executable is considered a 'security risk' but I don't see...

FCamera and the default kernel ?

I'm getting a blank viewfinder using FCamera on both the default PR1.2 and the power kernel.
I get these messages in dmesg on the default kernel:
[ 1319.004791] adp1653 2-0030: failed writing fault...
