actually AT&T uses more internationally standard frequencies. T-Mo is the GSM/GPRS frequency oddball....but they have greater service, quality and plans....and speed....

additionally this shortcut allows you to open multiple instances of xterm whereas clicking on the icon in the menu will just bring u back to the instance already running.

Useful if you want to run...
