Just a spurious thought, the GPSrecorder app is complete now,
but this app should have BEARING integrated in with the SPEED display
but the problem is that BEARING is a subjective measurement...

Hi, I did something close to what you want...
But it's not for google maps but for google earth.
You can record your coordinate with GPS Recorder save them in mylocation.klm file and send it...

Solution to N900 auto time update
NTP requires network and has
firewall/proxy/server-side issues.
.
Use your GPS ! :D
It works, even in the most remote place you can find.
It doesn't require you to have gprs or wifi...

I know the 120 seconds comes from the location library, but still.

cool, it may I suggest the following enhancements:
1. record accelometer data
2. be able to record as fast as data can be read (esp for accelometer sub-second resolution would be needed).
