Also, how do I install it? Given that there's a new kernel and what not, I'd really like to be sure about how I install it as my N9 is still my main phone.

better than MeeGo yet? Is there a better variety of apps that I can use? The facebook app for meego is a bit dilapidated and I don't find it very intuitive.

Yea if someone could update the wiki that'd be nice. MeeGo is starting to become very slow and bloated and I'd really like to use SFOS as soon as possible (given that it's now a bit more functional...

You can use PuTTy instead of the default windows Telnet client. It works like a charm and I've never had any issues with it. It's an easy download and I don't believe it requires an install either.

Sucks. KitKat is NitDroid's only hope of becoming a working OS for the N9. Until it's ported, Harmattan(a dead OS), seems to be the only working thing since SFOS is still under heavy development.
