Is that possible? I can connect to wifi produced by a 5G hotspot, but it doesn't get me a phone connection. I don't know about any app that'd works on the N900 that would receive calls to my phone...

Just use glue.
I did that last summer. I found a brand that has a pin point applicator. It cost less then $10. Works fine.
