But its unrealistic to expect them to find all fatal issues. For example, the wifi battery drain bug still went out on a production phone so I'm assuming that was not caught in testing.

I'm one of those Apple iPhone owners that got hit with update problems with 2.2, 3.0 and 3.1 - each time the update done on an Apple Mac via the most updated iTunes and still bricked the living...

Yes, I had to put in that comment as people thought the image is bad because Mirror doesn't "know" what to do (when in fact it just 'taps' in the video stream). The hardware part is I think apparent....
