Re: [WIP] Porting Whatsapp to Meego/Maemo (N9, N900)

Hi, I just want to clarify something. Basically the only reason I set May 1 as a release date, wasn't because the app was ready to be released, actually I had tons of bugs and work to do to make it...

Re: [WIP] Porting Whatsapp to Meego/Maemo (N9, N900)

If he is still working with Python on it, which I presume he is, porting the N9 -final- version to the N900 would be like a glass of beer compared to reverse engineering the JAVA S40 version which...

Re: [WIP] Porting Whatsapp to Meego/Maemo (N9, N900)

Patience is needed by all. If he delivers, it will come when he thinks it's finished enough to be shown to all.

If he doesn't, hell... I'll donate since he endeavored something that is a pretty...

Re: [WIP] Porting Whatsapp to Meego/Maemo (N9, N900)

It is a hassle to keep giving updates... As mentioned by many other posters, be patient or help out in the development process. Stop adding pressure.

Re: [Request] Help fight spam together!

If you didn't try already I would log the http requests at a low level to see if there is some some unique string they use for the user-agent or some other http header field. Bot authors are stupid...

It took a Nokia

When all the iPhones and iPads failed to show the FIS Nordic World Championship Sprint Finals live, it took a Nokia N900 to get the job done.

Re: HELP! My mates think my N900 is a piece of crap!

See, I'd simply get around the whole issue by boycotting FB. I don't care if it works or not, because I refuse to use or visit FB. I consider it to be as bad as MySpace was, and like then, I didn't...

Re: Hardware Engineers: Can we replace OMAP 3430 w/ 3630 :)

Re: And where is Quim Gil?

I would think Quim has a rather tough day at work today.
Please do not make this any harder on him than it needs to be.

It's not his fault Microsoft succeeded in a hostile takeover of Nokia.

Re: And where is Quim Gil?

Poor guy.

I'm really sorry for all the good developers at Nokia working in Meego, Qt, Linux and so many open source projects.

An strategic alliance with MS is the worst scenario for them.
