Okay added some MPRIS magic, it is a bit a hack I'm not sure how well it works, please test. (It works for me with lockscreen player patch).
URL removed, use latest openrepos release.

No, it is not; if you open the new version in the old firmware, the daemon will also crash on startup, as does the old version if you open it in the new firmware.

"soon" there will be a new image of SailfishOS 1.0.8.21 with fixed display rotation.
filippz fixed some bugs and now it works! locusf is going to do an image of that work.
