I bought my N900 because I was under the impression the closest thing out there to a real open-source phone. Not from any misguided GNU-style ideas about "Freedom", but from first-hand experience...

Not a good sign for MeeGo. Jaaksi was clearly one of the few people at Nokia who "gets it" - so if he's leaving, what does that say about the current state and future of MeeGo?

My thoughts exactly. The N900 really should've shipped with at least 512MB of RAM - mine gets horribly slow if I have media player (music), Mappero, Witter and a web browser open at the same time....

I don't care about sketch apps, and I can't think of anything else where you'd actually want a stylus.
I don't want to have to use a stylus; I want to be able to use my phone just with my fingers...
