Well, it works: http://wiki.maemo.org/UX/Icons but it is kind of clunky, as anything with an ’=‘ in the URL is interpreted as a named template argument. The solution is to use a named template...

I like this idea, and maybe it could be improved further using a template, with arguments for URLs, for example:

{{wikify|http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=51173}}
