Usually it is the longer security and other updates period if you are lucky and your device has a LineageOS maintainer. E.g. Nexus 6 is from december 2014 but still supported. But if you have both...

I had some small problems flashing the UBPorts image, but not the same or as bad as for n900user259. I couldn't get the device automatically recognised, so selected manually. Then the process...

Make sure you use an USB2 port - USB3 sometimes has problems with flashing. I guess you already have drivers, since you flashed before.

Switched to Youtube API v3 for retrieving Youtube Video titles.
Youtube API v2 was turned off by Google.
API v3 has a quota and the key is shared with LLs Video...

Update: 0.9-3 is out now.

The only change is the switch to Youtube API v3 to retrieve titles of youtube videos. API v2 is no longer working (Youtube turned it off basically)

Yeah in the future with gstreamer 1.x this should be no problem.
The implementation currently is very crashy therefor I did not add that feature yet.
