You don't have to import pyotherside in the interpreter.

Just install the packages python3-base, pyotherside-qml-plugin-python3-qt5, qt5-qtdeclarative-qmlscene

Then use some of the examples...

"flasher -i" doesnt flash anything, but keeps you in charging mode.

This is because if the phone is not in your hand the touchscreen is not grounded. Sailfish seems slightly more sensitive to this, but the same bug is present in Meego; if you're not touching the case...

From the terminal, change in to the directory where you've downloaded the rpm, e,g,:

cd ~/Downloads

Then use pkcon to install the package:

pkcon install-local ./downloaded-package.rpm
