It's sad to see that the only means of payment outside of Finland is Paypal. Even credit card payment is handled via Paypal...

I think at least part of the problem is the half open/half closed nature of Sailfish OS.

I did something different, WITHOUT patching Locscreen.qml file... I created daemon that run simple script and check every 20 sec if voicemail is "true".
Now I have LED/Sound/Event_&_Lock...

I think the real reason is as Zeta said. They have not even looked at that. So they never even got to the point of assessing whether it is a 5 minutes fix or a 5 months one.

Yes, that is part of the basic functionality of the mobiles phones since several years.
It is especially useful for mobile phones, as we don't always have the network (in subway, in old buildings...
