Re: [IGG Live][Slider Keyboard] Keyboard Mod for Moto Z

I don't know which interfaced was chosen but the HID interface (https://developer.motorola.com/explore/software/mod-hid) was probably chosen as the firmware...

Re: [Brainstorm][Maybe the real one?] Maemo Community Device

I don't work for Motorola but I went to the hackathons and met a lot of their engineers and I would guess the reason they didn't release a lot of their in-house products is to allow others to build...

Re: [Brainstorm][Maybe the real one?] Maemo Community Device

I think it is an unwise decision to have the camera obscured by the mod. If it is intended for people to have the mod on most of the time and then remove it if they want to take a picture will create...

Re: Motorola Z phones

I didn't mean to infer that Motorola copied Jolla. I just thought of all the people working hard to create custom TOH could perhaps find an easier way to do some hardware tinkering with Moto Mods....

Motorola Z phones

The Motorola Z with it's Moto Mods is an interesting expansion of Jolla and the Other Half. There is a Moto Mod Developer (http://developer.motorola.com/explore) section where custom creating custom...

Re: Toughbook users on tmo?

I don't have a 31 but a 53, 52, 51, 30, .... The 20 is NOT slow. I use it for software development and it is fast as I need...not a gamer at all.

Re: Toughbook users on tmo?

I have more toughbooks than I care to mention but my favorite is the new CF-20 and I have to say it is a very nice machine has modern hardware at launch for a change.

Re: End of Skype support coming soon?

In the USA AT&T has already depricated 2G and is pushing hard for LTE but at least there is 3G available for my N9.

Re: What's the best Handheld gnu/linux machine for 2016?

There is a downloadable user manual which adds a little insight. It has accessories like a keyboard and a dock. The WWAN is data-only and typically use linux-friendly pcie cards, like sierra wireless...

Re: What's the best Handheld gnu/linux machine for 2016?

I do like toughbooks and they are getting more tablets that are linux compatible. Perhaps looked at rugged devices might be a way to go as they usually have removable batteries, are designed to last...

Re: MWC - Mobile World Congress 2016

AT&T is sunsetting it's 2G this year and that makes things even more difficult for the Jolla in the USA. I wish it supported 3G in USA, that should be a minimum even if the 4G frequencies are not all...

Re: What Applications would you like to see on Sailfish Devices?

I don't know if this was mentioned before but having separate user accounts so you can have a "guest mode" when lending out your phone or letting your child use it to play games would be nice to have.

Re: Skype API shutdown - what happens to Skype on the N9?

Re: [Backcover] Jolla's "Other Half" - Ideas and Suggestions
